once, there was a guard who watches over a christian church. he saw that jesus is always hung on the cross and ppl go to worship him and thought that jesus must be feeling very tired. so one day, he faced the jesus on cross and said, " dear jesus, you must be tired hanging on the cross for so long. i wish i could replace u for just one day so you can take a rest." then the jesus on cross replied, " alright then, i shall let you replace me for one day while i take a short rest. However, you must not utter a single word while u are up on the cross when ppl come to pray." of course the guard was shocked.. but eventually he agreed to the condition and went up the cross.

then came one of the worshipper.. he was carrying a bag of gold and he prayed that he will not get caught for murder because he is going to use the bag of gold to hire a killer to kill someone. after praying, he left, forgetting bout his bag of gold!

then came a poor man.. he prayed that he could get rich so that he and his family wont have to starve and suffer.. after praying he noticed the bag of gold.. and he was so happy and took it home.

next, a sailor came.. he prayed for a safe trip before going out to sea later on and later on dash out of the church as he was running late. the rich man then came looking for the bag of gold which he had forgotten to take away. seeing the sailor dashing he stopped him and demanded that he return him his bag of gold. the sailor was stunned as he noe nothing bout the bag of gold!

after some time, the guard who was on the cross couldnt take it anymore.. and thus he said, " the sailor did not take away your bag of gold. it was the previous worshipper, the poor man." after hearing that, both of them of course was shocked too but hurried to find the poor man.

upon finding the poor man, the bag of gold was recovered.. however, jesus scolded the guard for speaking.. he told the guard that everything is pre-destined.. just because he spoke, the rich man got back the bag of gold so he can get someone killed. if not he wouldnt have the money to kill someone.. and the poor man and his family eventually died altogether due to lack of food.. if he didnt speak, they would live happily and not die. as for the sailor, he sailed and died due to the bad weather out at sea.. if only the guard nvr speak, he would be held up by the rich man and will be jailed instead of going to sea..

=X dunno if you can get the moral of the story. means many things are pre-destined.. 注定的.. =)
